Accept a trip request – the Bolt Drive app will automatically find passengers for you. You’ll also have visibility on where your passengers are going before you accept the order.

Drive to their destination – follow the directions and swipe to end the trip when you get there.

How do I sign up to drive with Bolt?

If you or someone you know is a licensed limousine driver in Ireland, then we want you to join the Bolt platform. If you’re interested in driving with Bolt, sign up!

When will the Executive category launch?

Bolt Executive launches on 11th July 2023 in Dublin.

Do I need a smartphone to drive with Bolt?

You should have a smartphone that runs at least Android 9.0 or iOS 12.

Does Bolt charge commission fees?

Drivers that sign up before we launch Bolt Executive on 11th July can enjoy 6 months commission-free!

Following the initial 6 month period, Bolt will charge a 13% fee from the final price per order. Bolt fees apply to both cash and card rides.

Bolt fees don’t apply to tips, bonuses, toll fees and cancellation fees. Bolt fees are calculated automatically and deducted from the weekly earnings.

How do I get paid for driving with Bolt?

Your payments are calculated automatically each week. The payment cycle runs from Monday (00:00) to the following Sunday (23:59). If you are due to receive a payout, we will send the funds during the first half of the following week.

We will send your payout to the bank account or mobile wallet linked to your driver profile. Depending on your bank’s processing time, it may take 1-2 business days for the transaction to be completed and the payout to be received.

What type of licencing and vehicles are eligible to drive with Bolt Executive?

SPSV licensed drivers with Limousine licensed vehicles are eligible to drive with Bolt Executive.
