General information
All fares shown in the Bolt app are estimates, calculated in line with the pricing structure set by the National Transport Authority (NTA). This includes any applicable surcharges such as the Booking Fee, additional passenger fee and charges related to toll roads or public holiday travel.
Note: Fares for the Bolt Executive category and the Chauffer category are not determined by the NTA and differ from other category pricing. Fare estimates for Executive trips are shown in advance before booking. Your fare estimate is displayed before you confirm your trip and reflects the expected total based on your selected route. The final fare may vary slightly if the route or drop-off location changes during the ride. All costs are inclusive of VAT, where applicable.

Technology Fee
- A Technology Fee is applied to all trips to support the ongoing development and operation of the Bolt platform. The Technology Fee applies to:
- Regular on-demand trips: €1.00 per ride
- Scheduled (pre-booked) rides: €2.00 per ride
This fee:
- Applies per trip
- Is included in your fare estimate before booking
- Will be listed separately on your trip receipt
- Is inclusive of VAT
Toll road fees
Toll fees will be added to any fare where the journey includes the use of a tolled road or tunnel. These fees are set by the local authority.
Booking Fee
A €3.00 Booking Fee is applied to all metered trips booked via the Bolt app in Ireland. This fee is regulated by the NTA and supports the operation of licensed booking and dispatch services. The fee does not apply to executive or chauffeur (limousine) category vehicles, which operate under separate licensing and pricing agreements
