✅ What You Should Do
  • Submit a clear, high-resolution colour photo

  • Use a plain white or blue background

  • Ensure balanced lighting — avoid dim or overexposed images

  • Dress in tidy, appropriate clothing and look presentable

  • Do not wear hats, caps, sunglasses, songkok, or face coverings. Only Sikh turbans are allowed.

  • The photo must be recent (taken within the last month)

❌ What to Avoid
  • Blurry or low-quality images

  • Wearing any headgear or items that cover your face

  • Being too close or too far from the camera — head and shoulders should be visible

  • Having other people, objects, or busy backgrounds in the photo

NRIC MyKad

The national ID in Malaysia is called MyKad and can be acquired on the MyGovernment Official Gateway.

Only Malaysian Citizen can become ride-hailing drivers in Malaysia.
✅ What You Should Do
  • Upload the front of your blue NRIC (MyKad).

  • Make sure your full name, IC number, and photo are clear.

  • Only Malaysian citizens are eligible — ensure your IC is not red.

❌ What to Avoid
  • Don’t submit scanned copies or photocopies.

  • Don’t crop or blur out any part of the card.

  • Don’t upload red/green IC — only blue is accepted.

CDL License

✅ What You Should Do
  • Upload a clear, high-resolution photo/scan of the front of your valid Malaysian Driving License (CDL).

  • Ensure it's NOT expired.

  • Make sure all key details (license number, expiry date, driver's name, IC number, photo) are easily readable and unobstructed.

  • Show the FULL front of the license in the image, no cropping.

  • Confirm your driver's name and IC number match your e-hailing registration.

  • Ensure the correct license class (e.g., D license) is visible.

❌ What to Avoid
  • Expired license.

  • Partial or blurry images of the front.

  • Photocopies or unofficial printouts.

  • Licenses belonging to someone else.

  • Any altered or tampered documents.

PSV-D/DA License
Drivers License must be Class D, Competent Driver's Licence (CDL)
✅ What You Should Do
  • Upload a full-colour photo showing all four edges of the card.
    Ensure all text is clear and unobstructed.
    Confirm the document is valid (not expired).
    Make sure it's a Type D or DA license with an E-hailing class.

❌ What to Avoid
  • Missing profile photo on the PSV license.

  • Text that is unclear, blocked, or hard to read.

  • Black and white, blurry, damaged, or cropped images.

  • Temporary or photocopied versions.

How to get PSV-D License
This license is required in order to provide e-hailing services in Malaysia.

How Do You Get a PSV License?
Step 1: Check if You Qualify
 
  • Must be 21 years old or older
  • Must have a valid Competent Driving License (CDL) for at least 1 year
Step 2: Go for Medical Check-up

  • Visit a clinic
  • Get the JPJL8A form filled by a doctor
Step 3: Attend PSV Training
  • Go for a 6-hour PSV course at a driving institute
Find JPJ-Approved Driving Institute near you
Step 4: Submit Your Application at JPJ Office
 

Required Documents:

  • MyKad (IC) original + copy

  • CDL (license) original + copy

  • JPJL8A medical form (completed by the clinic)

Attach together with the health examination receipt with Health Examination Receipt with stamp and signature of the clinic

  • JPJ L2C Certificate (Training certificate)

  • 1 passport-size photo

1 × 25mm × 32mm colour photo with white background

Step 5: Get Your PSV License
  • Once approved, your PSV is valid for 1 year
  • Renew it every year
Road Tax

Malaysians must pay road tax and auto-insurance before using their vehicles on the public roads. Generally this document is valid for one year and renewed annually. 
✅ What You Should Do
  • Upload current, official Road Tax (sticker or LKM).

  • Ensure it's NOT expired.

  • Make sure image is clear and readable.

  • Show the FULL document, no cropping.

  • Verify vehicle plate number matches.

❌ What to Avoid
  • Expired road tax.

  • Partial or blurry images.

  • Photocopies/unofficial documents.

  • Wrong vehicle's road tax.

  • Any altered documents.

PUSPAKOM Inspection Certificate

The PUSPAKOM Inspection Certificate confirms that a vehicle meets safety and environmental standards. E-hailing drivers need it if their vehicle is 3 years old or above to operate legally and keep their license active.
✅ What You Should Do
  • Upload the official "Perakuan Pemeriksaan" (Inspection Certificate).

  • Ensure it's NOT expired ("SAH SEHINGGA / VALID UNTIL" date is current).

  • Make sure image is clear and readable (all text visible).

  • Show the FULL document, no cropping.

  • Verify vehicle details (registration, chassis, engine numbers) match your vehicle.

  • Expired certificates.

  • Partial or blurry images.

  • Photocopies/unofficial documents.

  • Wrong vehicle's certificate.

  • Any altered documents.

Car Grant/VOC

This Vehicle Ownership Cerificate (VOC) document is issued to prove vehicle ownership during the purchase of vehicle or during transfer of ownership. 
✅ What You Should Do
  • Upload the official Vehicle Grant/VOC.

  • Ensure vehicle age is below 15 years.

  • Confirm it's registered under a Malaysian IC.

  • Make sure owner's name and IC number are correct, no typos.

  • Ensure all text is clear and unobstructed.

  • Verify vehicle plate number matches your Insurance Cover Note.

❌ What to Avoid
  • Submitting a grant for a vehicle older than 15 years.

  • Uploading a grant not registered under a Malaysian IC.

  • Having typo errors in owner’s name or IC number.

  • Damaged, temporary, photocopied, proposal, or handwritten images.
