The check is conducted by Puspakom to certify that your vehicle is fit to operate as an e-hailing vehicle, as required by the Ministry of Transport. Book an appointment online with Puspakom. Step 3: Renew your e-hailing insurance Make sure your policy is active and matches the required coverage for e-hailing. Final Step: Renew your road tax Do this at the JPJ physical counter. Example Scenarios

If your road tax expired on the same day as your EVP, you’ll need to renew your EVP and apply for road tax — the road tax will follow the EVP expiry date.

Scenario 2

If your road tax expired 6 months after your EVP, the renewed road tax will be based on 1 year or the EVP expiry date — whichever comes first.

Scenario 3

If your road tax expired less than 6 months before your EVP, the renewed road tax will only be valid for up to 6 months. Pro Tips -Align expiry dates of all documents for smoother yearly renewals -If you plan to stop e-hailing, cancel your EVP to avoid renewal blocks
