Stay on the road without hiccups. Here's how to renew your road tax as an e-hailing driver with Bolt.

Your road tax can only be renewed up to the earliest expiry date of these:

Step 1: Renew your EVP We'll handle the submission process for you. Step 2: Complete your Puspakom Berkala inspection It’s mandatory if your vehicle is over 3 years old. The check is conducted by Puspakom to certify that your vehicle is fit to operate as an e-hailing vehicle, as required by the Ministry of Transport. Book an appointment online with Puspakom. Step 3: Renew your e-hailing insurance Make sure your policy is active and matches the required coverage for e-hailing. Final Step: Renew your road tax Do this at the JPJ physical counter. The renewal duration will match the shortest validity among the 3 documents listed above.

Temporary Cancellation - Not interested in driving with Bolt but still active with another e-hailing platform. - Rental Car Action from Bolt: We will proceed with temporary cancellation. For temporary cancellation, no letter will be issued. Driver can check after 5 working days. Permanent Cancellation - Car age more than 15 years - Car owner deceased - Change of vehicle ownership details - No longer interested in e-hailing Action from Bolt: We will proceed with permanent cancellation. But if rejected because your vehicle is active on another e-hailing platform, Bolt will automatically proceed with temporary cancellation as required by APAD. ​ Note on EVP Cancellation Letter Only your last registered e-hailing operator can issue the EVP cancellation letter. If your EVP was registered under a different platform, you’ll need to contact them directly for the cancellation letter, as we’re unable to issue it on their behalf.
