TX Quality Mark (TX-keur) Application Guide

The TX-keur certificate is a quality mark for Dutch taxi companies, drivers, vehicles, and services. It assesses safety, customer service, punctuality, and more. The certificate is issued by the TX-keur Foundation.

Begin your TX-keur application by reviewing the official checklist to ensure you meet all requirements. This typically takes about 1 hour.

Request a Payment Behavior Statement from the Dutch Tax Authorities. This typically takes about 10 days.

Register for an account at the TX-keur Academy. Account creation can take up to 1 hour.

Take the mandatory TX Refresher Course. This step usually takes 3 hours.

Arrange passenger accident insurance for your taxi. This process can take about 1 day. Estimated cost: €20–€60 per month.

Obtain business liability insurance for your taxi. This step typically takes 1 day. Estimated cost: €10–€25 per month.

Purchase a first aid kit for your vehicle. Estimated cost: around €30.

Schedule an appointment at IIVN for your vehicle inspection. This takes about 1 hour.

Participate in the official inspection day. This process takes 1 day. Inspection cost: €410.

Once you have received your TX-keur quality mark, upload your certificate to complete your registration.

Before your TX-keur inspection, ensure you have all required documents and items ready. This helps your application process go smoothly.
