Complete the TX Refresher Course
Take the mandatory TX Refresher Course. This step usually takes 3 hours.

Take Out Passenger Accident Insurance
Arrange passenger accident insurance for your taxi. This process can take about 1 day. Estimated cost: €20–€60 per month.

Take Out Business Liability Insurance
Obtain business liability insurance for your taxi. This step typically takes 1 day. Estimated cost: €10–€25 per month.
Step 7
Get a First Aid Kit
Purchase a first aid kit for your vehicle. Estimated cost: around €30.
Step 8
Make an Appointment at IIVN
Schedule an appointment at IIVN for your vehicle inspection. This takes about 1 hour.

Inspection Checklist Overview
Before your TX-keur inspection, ensure you have all required documents and items ready. This helps your application process go smoothly.
Documentation
Required General Documents
Gather these general documents. Each must be no older than 4 months.
Chamber of Commerce extract (max. 4 months old)
Declaration regarding payment behaviour from the Tax Authorities (max. 4 months old)
Copy of valid Taxi Transport permit (max. 4 months old)

Prepare the following documents for each vehicle in your fleet.
Current fleet overview (type, license plate, year of manufacture, equipment, mileage)
Maintenance file per vehicle (date, work done, company name or technician)
Insurance
Required Insurance Documents
Make sure you have valid insurance documents and proof of payment.
Business liability insurance (minimum coverage €1,000,000) + proof of payment
Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance + proof of payment
Passenger accident insurance
Minimum coverage €10,000 in case of death
Minimum coverage €30,000 in case of permanent disability
