Airport Access Getting Started at Auckland Airport
Driving at Auckland Airport can be a great way to earn more, but you’ll need a TAMS Access Card first.
How to Get a TAMS Access Card
Before you can drive at the airport, you must complete the registration process and obtain your access card.

1. Visit the Auckland Airport TAMs website to begin your online application. During the registration process:
-
Select “Driver Application”
-
Choose “RIDESHARE” as the Company Name
-
Create your driver account and accept the airport’s terms and conditions
2. Once you receive an endorsement approval email from Auckland Airport, visit the TAMS office at 1 Jimmy Ward Crescent, Auckland Airport, to pay the application fee and collect your card.
Take these documents with you:
-
Valid NZ driver's licence
-
Proof of insurance
-
Bolt Driver ID
Do not go to the TAMS office until you’ve received this confirmation.
3. After receiving your TAMs card, upload a photo of it to the Bolt app to unlock airport trips.

Where to Wait for Trips
Wait in the official rideshare holding area located at 15 Jimmy Ward Crescent.
You’ll only receive airport trip requests if you're inside this holding zone.
The airport operates a virtual queue — first in, first out.
Do not wait at terminals or on public roads.
Waiting in the wrong location may result in fines, demerit points, or removal from airport trip access.
