Celebrating 30 Years of Freedom with Bolt: #BoltFree2Be

23 Apr 2024

Cape Town, South Africa

As South Africa gears up to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Freedom Day, it’s time for reflection, gratitude, and celebration.

This year, Bolt’s proud to stand alongside the nation in honouring this significant milestone. With our #BoltFree2Be competition, we’re not only commemorating the past but looking to the future with hope and excitement for what it means to be free.

Enabling freedom with Bolt

At Bolt, we believe in the power of freedom — the freedom to move, express oneself, and create positive change in our cities.

Our platform plays a crucial role in enabling these freedoms — allowing people to travel safely, affordably, and conveniently and share their visions of what they want their city to be.

#BoltFree2Be competition: how to get involved

We’re launching #BoltFree2Be, which invites communities to include us in commemorating 30 years of freedom.

Here’s how to participate:

30 x R1,000 Superbalist Vouchers: visit our IG page to take our Human Rights Day quiz. The first 30 responses that comment on our IG post with the correct answers will get an R1000 Superbalist voucher. There are also 30 000 promo code usages up for grabs.

1 x R30,000 towards your community: nominate an organisation that makes your city better and tell us how they enable freedom within your community. We’ll donate R30,000 to them to help them do more!
