The KLIA airport queuing system aims to ensure smooth operations, reduce congestion, and provide a better experience for both drivers and passengers. Queue numbers are assigned automatically by the system and cannot be manually set or adjusted. If you have any questions, contact support via the Driver App.

The Airport Queuing System

When you arrive at the designated airport waiting areas, you will automatically enter Bolt's virtual queue. Note:

If you do not accept the first trip allocated to you, you will be placed at the end of the queue.
If you leave the set waiting area and do not return within the suggested timeframe, you will lose your spot in the queue.
If you experience any issues with receiving airport trips, please contact Support Team via the App.

Priority Queue / Rematching function

Priority Queue / Rematching function Drivers who arrive at the airport with a passenger will be given priority and will move up the queue faster than drivers who do not enter the airport polygon with a passenger.

Pricing

Pricing for airport jobs is fixed, and will change based on category. Tolls that the drivers face en-route to the airport will be added on to the fixed fare.

Booking Fee

KLIA2 has a RM2 fee that is charged to the passenger automatically, and added to your fare. There is no need to collect an additional fee on top of the ride.

Important FAQ about Airport Queuing System

  • Check if you have a stable network connection.

  • Ensure you have granted the necessary location and notification permissions for the Bolt Driver app in your phone settings.

  • Verify that your app is up-to-date. If the issue persists, contact Bolt Support for assistance.

Queue positions are managed automatically. Your position may be affected by factors such as your arrival time or changes in your phone’s network coverage.

Reconnect as quickly as possible. If your disconnection exceeds 2 minutes, you may lose your current position in the queue.

You may be moved back in the queue if:

You fail to adhere to the assigned time.

If you are out of the polygon for more than 90 minutes, you will move back.

If your phone’s connection is disconnected for more than 2 minutes, you will move back.

To avoid delays, always be prepared and follow the queue displayed in the app.

Polygons are designated areas shown on the Bolt Driver app map. Staying within these areas is critical to maintaining your queue position.
