Bolt commission fee

Bolt earns commissions in all markets where it operates. In France, we charge a commission of 22.8% on the price of each trip in Île-de-France and 20% in other regions.

The commission applies to cash journeys, card journeys and cancellation fees.

Commission does not apply to tips, bonuses, toll charges and reservation fees.

The commission will be calculated automatically and reflected directly in your app. You can view it by clicking on the Earnings tab from the app's homepage.

If you do not pay the commission, your cash ride option will be temporarily suspended due to debt. In the meantime, you will only be able to make journeys with card payment.

Cancellation fees

The amount of compensation in the event of cancellation varies depending on the category assigned to the vehicle at the time of the journey. But it also varies depending on the type of journey: scheduled or regular journeys.
