Request to Add a Vehicle

Key points:

  • If you are self-employed, you can add your vehicle from your Bolt Driver app.
  • If you are part of a fleet and would like to add your vehicle, ask the fleet manager to add the vehicle from their Bolt fleet portal.

  1. How to proceed? Go to the Help section of your Bolt Driver app.

  2. What documents are required? Vehicle Registration Certificate (Carte Grise), Green Card/Insured Vehicle Memo (Carte Verte/Mémo Véhicule Assuré), VTC Sticker (Macaron VTC) and Certificate of Insurance for Paid Passenger Transport (Attestation d'Assurance de Transport à Titre Onéreux).

If your vehicle is awaiting approval from the VTC Register, you have one month to provide us with your VTC Macaron.

To benefit from this deadline, please provide us with proof that the vehicle is pending on your VTC Registry account.

  1. Validation deadlines Your vehicle will be approved within 24 hours after your request (working days).

  2. Is there a charge to add a vehicle to Bolt? No, adding a vehicle to the platform is free.

Register the vehicle

From the Home page of your application
Click Help
Click on Manage Vehicles
Finally, click on Add New Vehicle.
Enter the vehicle's registration plate and click Continue.
Select the vehicle information: make and model, year and color (do not write but select from the drop-down list, so that the information is taken into account"
Click Next.
Add vehicle documents and their expiration dates if necessary.
Confirm adding the vehicle by clicking Submit.
