We’ve hidden postcards — like this 💌— in our app. Find the postcards for a chance to win! Here’s how:

  1. Open the Bolt Food app;
  2. Enter the promo code ‘SUMMER’ (Under ‘profile’ → ‘promo codes’);
  3. Find restaurants with ‘💌’ emojis next to their name;
  4. Order from these restaurants to get a discount on each order and enter the competition.

Hint: use the 💌 emoji in our app’s search bar for a quick way to find all participating restaurants!

One order = one postcard collected. The person with the most postcards before  will win a summer holiday in €500 weekend break at the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz.

Marketing Campaign Terms and Conditions 

General 

  1. Bolt Operations OÜ, address Vana-Lõuna tn 15, 10134 Tallinn, Estonia, registry code 14532901 is the organiser of the campaign Postcards from Bolt Food 2023 (Campaign). 
  2. The Campaign will be held in Malta at the specified start and end date 09/06/2023 till 19/06/2023(inclusive) (Term of the Campaign).
  3. The procedure of the Campaign is established in current Marketing Campaign Terms and Conditions and in the conditions specified in the promotional and additional materials of the Campaign, which are mandatory for all Participants.
  4. All users who have a personal Bolt Food App Client account, who comply with Bolt’s Terms and Conditions for Clients available at https://food.bolt.eu/en-US/legal are eligible to take part in the Campaign (Participant).
  5. Prior registration for the Campaign is not required; however, in order to participate in the Campaign, the Participant must accept current Marketing Campaign Terms and Conditions (incl. prize-winners acknowledging that their first name may be published on the websites of Bolt, in client communications, emails and social media channels).

Participation in the Campaign

  1. To participate in the Campaign, the Participant must use promotional code related to the Campaign SUMMER when completing at least one (1) order during the Term of the Campaign at a restaurant  with the emoji related to the Campaign displayed in the name of the restaurant 💌 in the Bolt Food Platform. For the avoidance of doubt, the order must be completed (not canceled or similar) for the use of the promotional code to be taken into account in the Campaign.
  2. Free Base Delivery discount will apply to the delivery in case of using the promotional code. The promotional code can be used up to 100 times per user. The maximum number of usage of the promotional code is 5000 per account. The promotional code will only work on restaurants which have the emoji related to the Campaign displayed in their name 💌 in the Bolt Food Platform.

Prize  

  1. One Participant who has completed the highest number of orders with the promotional code related with the Campaign at the Bolt Food Platform restaurant which has the emoji associated with the Campaign displayed in its name during the Term of the Campaign, can win a 2 night stay 5 star luxury hotel Kempinski San Lawrenz Gozo worth 500.00 (five hundred) euros (the Prize). The terms for use of the Prize will be set by the third party service provider. 
  2. The Prize is not replaceable or exchangeable in any way and Bolt shall not reimburse any expenses related to receiving the Prize.
  3. The Prize will be gross of any income taxes, charges and other similar levies. The participant shall be liable for reporting and paying personal income taxes and other similar taxes relating to receiving the prize, as applicable.

Identifying the winner

  1. Bolt will identify one (1) Participant who has completed the highest number of orders with the promotional code related to the Campaign at the Bolt Food Platform restaurant which has the emoji associated with the Campaign displayed in its name during the Term of the Campaign as a winner of the Prize. The winner will be announced on 19.06.2023. The name of the winner of the Campaign will be published on Bolt’s blog, website, in client communications, e-mails and/or social media channels. 
  2. Should it be the case that there will be more than one (1) Participant who has completed the highest number of orders, then Bolt identifies the winned by drawing one (1) winner at random among those Participants having equally highest number of orders with the promotional code related with the Campaign at the Bolt Food Platform restaurant which has the emoji associated with the Campaign displayed in its name during the Term of the Campaign.
  3. Employees of Bolt and companies belonging to the same group as Bolt, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to win the Prize. 

Privacy

  1. In the Campaign, Bolt processes data of the Participant in order to fulfil the conditions of the Campaign, to comply with its legal obligations and to pursue its legitimate interests, pursuant to Article 6 (1) (c) and (f) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). The processing of personal data is necessary in order to announce the name of the Participant and for the purpose of awarding the Prize. Bolt is a data controller of Participant’s personal data 
  2. The data is provided to Bolt voluntarily, but failing to do so may lead to Bolt not being able to contact the winner of the Campaign. Bolt may share Participant’s data with other entities within Bolt group, providers of online cloud storage services and other essential IT services and providers of marketing services. Bolt may also be obliged to share Participant’s personal data with public authorities authorized to process personal data. Where Bolt shares data with its suppliers located outside of the EU or EEA, such transfer of personal data will take place only upon appropriate legal basis, and Bolt will take appropriate protective measures such as standard contractual clauses or the adequacy decision issued by the European Commission.
  3. The data is acquired directly from the Participant and via Bolt Food mobile application.
  4. The Participant has a right to request access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing of personal data or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability. Where a Participant’s data is processed on the basis of a consent, the Participant has a right to withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. In case of any unresolved privacy concerns, the Participant has the right to complain to a data protection authority.
  5. For any queries related to Bolt’s processing practices, the Participant may contact Bolt by post at Bolt Operations OÜ, Vana-Lõuna tn 15, Tallinn 10135. The Participant may contact Bolt’s Data Protection Officer electronically at privacy@bolt.eu
  6. The personal data of the Participant will be kept until the winner is presented with the Prize. After the Prize is presented to the winner, Bolt will only retain the winner’s first name for one year for use in the media, advertising and other Bolt-related events, and additional data as appropriate and where required- for the purposes of complying with legal obligations for the duration of statutory retention periods.

Prohibited activities

  1. The Participant will not engage in any fraudulent, unethical or unlawful activity, any activity which is not transparent to Bolt, or any activity that intentionally or unintentionally misuses or circumvents the Campaign. 
  2. The Participant will also not display or transmit any material (either directly or indirectly, for example through a referral link or any other media) that:
    1. is inappropriate, unethical, threatening, abusive or invasive of another’s privacy, or causes annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety;
    2. is likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person;
    3. impersonates any person, or misrepresents Participants identity or affiliation with any person;
    4. gives the impression that such material emanates from Bolt unless specifically given to Participant by Bolt for that purpose; or
    5. is detrimental to Bolt’s reputation.

Obligations/Other

  1. By participating in the Campaign, the Participant confirms that he/she has read and agrees to current Marketing Campaign Terms and Conditions.
  2. Should circumstances of force majeure appear, Bolt shall have the right to discontinue the Campaign without prior notice or any consequences. If possible, Bolt shall provide notice of such discontinuation through Bolt’s blog, website, in client communications, e-mails and/or social media channels.
  3. Bolt reserves the right to make any decisions regarding the Campaign, including to unilaterally change and supplement current Marketing Campaign Terms and Conditions, without prior notice thereof. Bolt will publish such decisions regarding the Campaign via Bolt’s blog, website, in client communications, e-mails and/or social media channels. 
  4. Bolt has the right to remove the Participant from the Campaign without prior notice should the Participant infringe current Marketing Campaign Terms and Conditions. 
  5. Bolt is not responsible for any faults caused by a third party which prevents the Participant from participating in the Campaign. 
  6. All complaints related to the organisation of the Campaign must be presented to Bolt via following e-mail giveaways@bolt.eu during the Term of the Campaign. Bolt will not process complaints regarding the Campaign which will be sent after the Term of the Campaign.
