Paying Your Commission
Bolt charges a 20% commission from the final price per order in Nigeria. Commission fee applies to both cash and card rides and cancellation fees.
Commission doesn’t apply to tips, bonuses, additional airport, toll fees, or operational fees.
Commission is calculated automatically and deducted from the weekly earnings. You can see the sum of the commission fee charged in the Earnings view.

If you have a negative balance, you can pay the commission you owe to Bolt via the mobile in-app transfer. To do so:
Go to the Earnings tab and click Pay to Bolt button
Choose a payment option - mobile banking
You will receive a virtual account number to be used in place of a reference number. This is your unique number and will be valid indefinitely. Do not share this number!
Use your banking app, agent of bank to deposit the payment. Once done, you will receive an in-app payment notification confirming successful completion.

Once you have paid, you will see a difference in your balance within X hours.
Bolt owes me money. How do I receive my money?
Your payments are calculated automatically every week. A payment cycle runs from Monday to Sunday. A payout is received in the first half of every week.
We will send the payout to the bank account or mobile wallet linked to your driver profile. Depending on the local bank's processing time, it may take 1-2 business days for the transaction to be complete.
