To operate with Bolt Portugal, you must provide valid vehicle documentation. This guide explains which documents are required, how to upload them, and special conditions for fleet vehicles.

Vehicle Ownership & Association

The vehicle must be owned by the fleet or officially associated with it. If the vehicle is not owned by the fleet, you must attach a document proving the relationship between the vehicle and the fleet.

Policy & Coverage Details

Insurance Requirements

Your insurance policy must meet the following conditions:

The vehicle owner must be the policyholder (except for usufruct, sale with retention of title, and financial leasing)
The policy number must match the number on the Green Card
Civil Liability Coverage of at least €7,500,000
Occupant protection coverage (death or permanent disability) of at least €10,000
Explicit mention of coverage for TVDE activity
Insurance must be active (verify on the Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Authority’s website)

Green Card

The Green Card must show the vehicle owner as the policyholder (except for usufruct, sale with retention of title, and financial leasing). The policy number must match the one in the Particular Conditions.

Compliance with Law No. 45/2018

Periodic Technical Inspection

Your vehicle must pass the periodic technical inspection as required by Law No. 45/2018.
