Win R100 000 with the #BoltGwijoChallenge

We’ve all experienced the power of a nation united through creativity. And none can be a better representation than that of iGwijo! Through song, this tradition has highlighted the tenacity and pride we hold as South Africans for our culture. 

Now, you could win R100 000 for your school, charity, sporting club, or local stokvel, simply by entering our #BoltGwijoChallenge.

What is the #BoltGwijoChallenge? 

The #BoltGwijoChallenge was inspired by a nation’s love of celebrating culture through music. 

Whether you’re part of a community project that needs funding for family parks, a school that needs repairs, a nursing home that wants a revamped bowls area, a hospital that needs new equipment, or just a stokvel looking to boost savings, this is for you! 

To enter the #BoltGwijoChallenge, your crew will need to create a Gwijo video on TikTok that incorporates the word ‘Bolt’ and demonstrates the app. 

And that’s it! By showing your creativity, you could win R100 000 for your nominated organisation. 

How to enter the #BoltGwijoChallenge

Over the next 10 weeks, join us and get the nation moving and grooving to your Gwijo. 

Here’s how:

1. Register your crew via this Google Form
   

• Only registered groups are eligible 
• Individual entries will not be considered
• You’ll get a unique group code after registering via an email that will be shared on the 28th of February 2024
  

2. Check your inbox for challenge details and your group code
   
3. Repost our video on TikTok, available here, with your Gwijo. It must incorporate the Bolt brand and the word ‘Bolt’.
   
4. Post the video on TikTok. Other social media posts are accepted provided you include:
   1. The unique code 
   2. The #BoltGwijoChallenge hashtag
      
5. Encourage others to use your unique code on the Bolt app, and share your video for greater engagement.

And that’s it! The Gwijo with the highest interaction and code usage wins the grand prize of R100 000 for their nominated organisation. 

Win weekly prizes 

While everyone will have their sights set on the R100 000, you can still win some great mini-spoils over the 10 weeks simply by interacting with any registered video entry. Prizes include promo codes, shopping vouchers, and surprise boxes.
