About the role

Your daily adventures will include:

  • Project Management: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring successful delivery and measurable impact on profitability and growth for the vertical’s ambitions. Lead the end-to-end execution of growth analytics projects with a specific focus on pricing optimization, campaign management, and the introduction of dynamic pricing, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in product and vertical
  • Data Analysis: Conduct advanced data analysis to uncover insights and support strategic decision-making. Utilize statistical methods, predictive modeling, and data visualization techniques to interpret complex data sets, particularly focusing on market-level optimization
  • Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to one direct report, fostering their professional development within the team as well as supporting all people management topics for the team. Lead by example through hands-on involvement in analytical tasks and deliverables
  • Market Management and Technical Deployment: Oversee and deliver the technical deployment of playbooks, models and tools for both pricing and campaigns across markets where Growth Analytics offers operational support. In addition, designing and outlining regular processes to track market performance and adjust playbooks for local context
  • Campaigns Management: Drive the success of growth campaigns, addressing season start, user acquisition, engagement and retention to deliver against the growth goals for the vertical in markets managed by Growth Analytics
  • Pricing Optimisation: Lead the development and execution of our pricing playbooks, including dynamic pricing strategies, to deliver against the yearly incremental net profit goals set for pricing optimisation
  • Budgeting and Investment Optimization: Play a pivotal role in building and operationalizing the yearly budgeting and investment optimization process, providing essential input for successful pricing and incentives strategy execution. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to define targets aligned with operationalized multi-year budgeting, ensuring a balanced approach between profit

About you:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • At least 7 years experience in an analytical role dealing with large volumes of data, with experience managing/coaching junior analysts
  • Experience with pricing and/or promotion management, experience with marketplaces or transport is a plus
  • Proven experience in a lead analytical role, with a track record of successful project delivery and driving incremental net profit through analytics
  • Proficient in data analysis tools such as Python or SQL, as well as data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau or Power BI
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a direct report and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about how analytics can drive business growth
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex analytical findings to a non-technical audience
