How to use Bolt Balance:

To give Bolt Balance a try, tap Payments in the app’s main menu. 

To top it up , follow the instructions. You can make a deposit with a card payment, via a mobile wallet or a bank transfer.

If I have money on my Bolt Balance, will it be chosen automatically as the primary payment method?

If you have added money to your balance account, it will automatically be chosen as the first payment option. If there’s not enough money on your Bolt Balance to  pay for your trip, another payment method will be used to cover the remaining cost.

Can I delete my card from my account when I’ve added money to my Bolt Balance and use it as a primary payment method?

You can use Bolt Balance to pay for your trips, but you’ll still need to have at least one other payment method selected in case the price of your trip exceeds the available balance.
