Driver rating

Your rating reflects rider feedback and the standard of service you provide. It also determines your account status.

How it's calculated

Your overall rating is an average from your last rated rides, not a single score. This means one unusually high or low rating won't define your average.

The goal is to reflect your long-term service standard across many rider experiences. You can see the number of rides your average is based on in the app.

Account status

In the rating section of the app, you can see the thresholds that apply in your city and your current status:

**All good** — no action needed, keep up the same standard of service.

**Needs attention** — a low rating may lead to a warning and closer monitoring of your account.

**Suspension risk** — if your rating stays below the required level, your account may be suspended or permanently terminated.

After a warning, the app shows you a period during which no actions apply — this is your opportunity to improve your rating.

If your account is suspended

You'll receive an email with the reason, the duration, and the date you can go back online. The reason is repeated reports from riders about uncomfortable experiences during rides, which goes against our platform terms.

You can see the details in the ratings section of the app. If you believe the decision was a mistake, contact support or submit an online appeal.

Rating and Bolt Rewards

From 1 November 2026, Gold, Platinum and Diamond tiers are based not only on the points you collect but also on your driver rating. Bronze and Silver tiers are unchanged.
