Update: Share trip details with friends

Ever had to explain that you’re running late but you’re already on your way? We can’t help you make up better excuses, but we can provide proof that you’re on the move.

New Bolt feature lets you share details of your trip with friends and family. Simply tap “SHARE” during your ride (works even before the driver arrives!) and send a link to anyone. Use it to show friends when you arrive or let the family know you’re safely on your way.

They will see:

• Your pickup point
• Car’s location and movement
• Your destination (if you set it up)
• Driver and car information

A few security notes:

• The link will expire in 48 hours after your trip was finished.
• Car’s location is taken from Driver’s GPS.

This feature is available for our iPhone and Android apps since January 27th, make sure you update Bolt to get it.
