Here’s what you need to do:

• Give your driver a 4-5-star rating;
• Leave a comment, if you wish;
• Choose the amount you wish to send as a tip;
• Tap on the button and you’re done!

100% of your tip will be sent to the driver. After all, they earned it!

The option to tip your Bolt driver for their excellence will be open for up to 15 minutes after your ride has ended.

How much should you tip?

Tipping is a bit like brushing your teeth — we all know it’s important, but we still debate how long we have to brush for. Are 2 minutes enough? Is 10% of the total cost about right? How much should you tip?

First of all, please remember that tipping is always optional. However, if you wish to express your thanks with a bit of an extra, then don’t feel shy and go for it!

How much you tip can be based on a lot of things — the service, your mood or the situation you’re in. The rule of thumb is to listen to your heart and tip as much as you feel comfortable with. Whatever the amount, it will certainly please the driver and let them know that they’re doing a great job.
