How to use Scheduled Rides for business trips
First, your company needs to create a Bolt Business account so you can set your company as the payment method in the Bolt app and charge rides directly to your employer.

As an alternative to Bolt Business, you can keep your work rides and personal trips separate by setting up a free Work Profile in the Bolt app.
How to schedule your next work ride
- Set your company as the payment method in the Bolt app;
- Tap the icon with the car and calendar symbols;
- Choose the ride date and time;
- Enter the pick-up point and final destination;
- Choose a ride category;
- Tap Reserve Bolt to confirm your booking.
Get reminders about your trip
After scheduling your work ride, you’ll get 3 reminders:
- 1 day before your journey.
- 1 hour before pick-up.
- When the driver is on their way to pick you up.
Once the driver arrives, you have 5 minutes of free wait time. If the driver arrives earlier, the waiting time starts at your chosen pick-up time.
Book rides for the team
To arrange a trip for your colleagues, use the Ride Booker — they’ll get all the details via SMS and won’t need to download the Bolt app.
With Ride Booker, admins can:
- Book trips up to 15 days in advance.
