Finance Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to support our financial operations and help ensure accurate and efficient accounting processes. About the role

In this Finance Assistant role, your responsibilities include supporting daily financial operations, managing invoices and payments, preparing financial reports and reconciliations, coordinating administrative and accounting processes and communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and compliant financial operations.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Receive, register, and check invoices and financial documents for compliance; manage contracts and corporate partners’ receivables, including payments and follow-ups
Maintain up-to-date financial systems, prepare financial reports, support month-end closings, and monitor/reconcile bank transactions
Maintain communication with clients, support management daily, and coordinate with the accounting department
Assist with ad-hoc tasks assigned by management and confidently use Excel for various financial operations
Oversee the monthly invoicing process, including VAT invoices and delivery-acceptance documents, ensuring accuracy and promptly resolving discrepancies
Support financial audit processes by providing required documentation and information in a timely and organized manner

About you:

You have relevant experience in Finance, Accounting (certified accounting knowledge or background is considered a strong advantage)
You have a minimum of 1-2 years of related experience
You have solid proficiency in financial modelling, Excel and financial statement analysis
You have great verbal and written communication skills and you are also precise
You are able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment and you handle monotony well
You have excellent English and native-level Hungarian language skills
