Bolt in Khmelnytskyi

City of Khmelnytskyi (was called Proskuriv until 1954) is the administrative center of raion and oblast, located on the banks of the Southern Buh. Settlement has been known since ancient times (first mentioned back in 1431) due to the presence of important at that time Ploskyrivskyi fortification, which is now lost. It is worth visiting the Ostriv Kokhannia (Love Island) which is located in the riverbed, in fact in the city center; then take a walk in the park of culture & recreation n.a. Mykhailo Chekman. And don’t forget to immerse yourself into the atmosphere of the local market – largest in Ukraine and throughout Eastern Europe; the remnant of the late-Soviet-era past, which still remains a major center of economic activity.
