Terminals

Murtala Muhammed International Airport, also known as Lagos Airport (LOS), operates out of two seperate terminal buildings. LOS Terminal 1 is the main terminal, serving both international and domestic flight arrivals and departures. LOS Terminal 2 is positioned at the south end of the airport, and serves domestic flights. It is also the only privately funded airport terminal in Nigeria.

For more information on specific long-term or disabled parking options, it's best to contact the airport directly. The 2 terminals are located about a kilometer apart. That said, most likely you'll be in the main terminal (LOS Terminal 1), where all gates are easily accessible on foot. This means even the tightest airport transfer window is significantly less stressful! Passengers requiring assistance are asked to contact their airline directly, or inquire with the airport information desk.

Hotels near Lagos Airport

If you've got to catch an early flight and are looking for hotels close to LOS, there are several within a 5 km radius. Some even offer an airport shuttle service for their guests, but be sure to double-check! If shopping isn't not your thing, you can find a little pre-flight rest and relaxation in one of the many airport lounges dotted throughout either of the terminal buildings.

Points of interest at Lagos Airport

If you have some time to spare, Murtala Muhammed International Airport is close to the city center, where you'll find sites and attractions such as Freedom Park, the National Theatre, the Nigerian National Museum and Victoria Island. Have a bit more time on your hands? Venture farther out into the surrounding region, where you'll find Hi-Impact Planet Amusement Park, Ikeja City Mall, Lekki Conservation Centre and Third Mainland Bridge.
