Parking during your ride
You can park the car during your ride wherever parking is legally allowed. Whether you pay for parking depends on the area:
- Outside red areas: Bolt covers paid parking. It is included in the ride price, so you don’t need to pay for it separately.
- In red areas: Bolt doesn’t cover parking. If the spot is paid, you pay for it yourself.
- Private car parks, shopping centre car parks and garages: you can park there if parking is allowed, but you pay the parking fee yourself.
Always follow traffic rules
Parking in an area that isn’t red on the map doesn’t guarantee that parking is permitted at that exact spot. Traffic law and road signs always take priority. Don’t park where you would block traffic or pedestrians, on pedestrian roads, or on grass.
Daily rentals
Parking during daily rental orders is not covered. During a daily rental, you need to pay for any parking yourself.
Underground garages
You are responsible for paying any garage parking fees. The car relies on mobile connectivity, so we can’t guarantee that locking and unlocking will work reliably in garages with poor cell reception.
Parking fines
If you receive a parking ticket or fine for unpaid or illegal parking, you are responsible for paying it and any associated handling fees.
