Below, you can find more information about:
Becoming eligible for coupons
- A postpaid company becomes eligible if the company is active and some credit limit is assigned to it.
- A credit card company becomes eligible after finishing a certain amount of orders and pays for all of them. The number of orders may vary depending on the market.
Using coupons
A coupon may contain one or more individual codes that can be applied as promo codes in the Bolt app. Each code can be applied to one or more orders and provide different types of discounts, depending on the settings chosen when the coupon was created.
Once the code has been applied to the app, the user will also see the coupon settings you have chosen. The code can be shared with an employee signed up to your account or with a user who is not connected to your account.
Note: Coupons do not work for scheduled rides or Ride Booker orders.
To distribute the codes, you can either:
- Download a spreadsheet with codes on the coupon details page after the coupon creation
- Email the codes to the recipients automatically by attaching the CSV with recipient emails during the coupon creation.
Invoicing of coupons
Postpaid companies
- Whenever a coupon is created, the total amount of the created coupon is booked from the company’s credit limit.
- Only the amount actually spent on the orders will be invoiced to you. Once the coupons expire or are cancelled, the rest of the credit limit will be unblocked.
Credit card companies
- The company has a limit on the number of coupons possible to create, and the company's credit card is charged when a coupon is used.
Note:
- On the invoice, coupons won’t be displayed as orders but as a separate service.
- Only the redeemed coupons and the spent amount are visible on the Coupons page. Further details of each order are currently not visible.

Coupon not applying to orders
- For percentage and amount discount coupons, you can limit the number of orders.
- For all of the coupon types, you can set:
