Senior Mechanic

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Mechanic who will ensure that our fleet of e-scooters is always maintained at the highest level of quality.

This is a full-time temporary contract employment opportunity. The monthly gross salary for this role ranges from 1600 € to 1900 € and will depend on your skills, knowledge, and experience.

About the role

You'll be responsible for quickly and efficiently identifying and fixing complex damages to our vehicles. Your keen eye for detail will ensure that every ride on our e-scooter is safe and reliable.

You’ll perform thorough safety tests on each vehicle to make sure that it’s roadworthy. We aim to provide customers with a top-notch transport experience, and your dedication to maintaining high safety standards will help us achieve this.

Additionally, you’ll assist the Lead Mechanic with their daily tasks and actively participate in coordinating and training the team of mechanics, leading by example and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment for the Mechanics team.

What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Performing mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure top-notch quality for our e-scooters.
Analysing complicated incidents and solving technical and mechanical problems.
Putting new e-scooters into service involves unpacking, running quality checks, adding necessary equipment, ensuring safety, and troubleshooting.
Ensuring new mechanics are properly trained and follow relevant guidelines in the warehouse, including diagnosis, issue evaluation, charging, battery management, health, and safety.
Helping the Lead Mechanic to proactively coordinate tasks and manage inventory, shipments, feedback, and resources, perform quality control, and ensure that all operations run smoothly.
Performing weekly and monthly inspections of the warehouse, identifying areas for improvement, and tracking/implementing actions to enhance efficiency and safety.
What we expect
About you:
You have proven mechanical experience, particularly in the automotive or electronics repair fields.
You have a talent for effectively organising and prioritising your work tasks.
Your proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of challenges are reflected in your hands-on work.
You know how to use smartphones, laptops, and mechanical devices.
You’re fluent in the local language and possess good communication and collaboration skills.
You have previous experience in coordinating and managing a team is an advantage.
