About the role
Bolt Legal, Risk & Privacy’s (LRP) Legal Operations function owns responsibility for maintaining, enhancing and implementing a cohesive strategy for enhancing automation, integration and AI enablement of Bolt legal functions’ technology and processes.
The Head of Legal Operations is a vital strategic role to fulfil LRP’s present and future strategy for technology.
What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the Legal Operations team (primarily based in Tallinn), ensuring effective strategic planning, collaboration, and program management.
Technology & Process Optimization: Maintain, design, and implement the strategic technology roadmap of LRP, ensuring alignment with business needs. Collaborate with stakeholders and manage quarterly program reviews through Legal Operations functions.
Budget & Vendor Management: Own the annual LRP technology budget, oversee cost management, and engage with external suppliers. Support RFP initiatives, including the selection, design, and implementation of technology solutions.
Tech Stack & Digital Tools Oversight, and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Implementation: Manage LRP’s legal technology ecosystem, ensuring optimal use of platforms such as Google, Confluence, JIRA, Looker, CLM, and BrightFlag. Ensure alignment with business goals and product lifecycle management. Lead the strategic rollout of an enhanced CLM platform, ensuring seamless integration, automation, and alignment with the broader technology ecosystem at LRP and Bolt.
Knowledge & Digital Asset Management: Oversee digital asset governance and knowledge management to support automation, AI-initiatives, and ongoing documentation needs. Secure adequate training for Legal teams, end-users, and stakeholders.
Legal Administrative & Support Functions: Oversee daily operations, prioritize workload requests, and identify opportunities for automation and integration to minimize manual processes.
What we expect
About you:
Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying!
5 to 10+ years experience in an international corporation with practical experience managing disbursed technical and support team.
Detail program and technology expertise and know-how implementing integrated automated SaaS solutions, inclusive of CLM.
Working knowledge of process engineering and reporting through JIRA and business analytical applications.
Understanding of AI legal platform and solutions.
Hands-on program management and project management experience within agile methodologies. As well, as expertise and know-how of Confluence and Google Workplace.
Practical knowledge of Legal Spend Management and/or Entity Management SaaS applications and platform a plus.
