Junior Safety Specialist (OHS)
Bolt is seeking a Junior Safety Specialist (OHS) to lead the implementation of Bolt’s Integrated Management System within our German and Switzerland operations, based in Berlin.

About the role
Bolt is a fast-paced and exciting organisation and the role will be based within our Risk team, with the opportunity to make an impact to the organisation and be involved in many exciting projects (DE, CH specific, as well as global). The Bolt products available in Germany include ride-hailing, carsharing, micromobility (e-scooters/e-bikes) and Bolt Food, and in Switzerland ride-hailing and micromobility (e-scooters/e-bikes).

What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Overseeing incidents and crisis events entered into Bolt’s incident management system and assisting with reporting, investigation and corrective action.
Acting as the primary H&S contact for stakeholders, external consultants and authorities, and conducting audits, identifying improvement actions and ensuring standardisation across operations.
Preparing task-specific OHS procedures for workers and disseminating them, while ensuring legal and internal compliance.
Conducting or organising OHS training for employees, maintaining a training register and ensuring regular re-training obligations are met.
Managing and delivering both local and global projects within specific timelines, including project tracking and reporting on progress.
Supporting additional specific countries with implementation and internal compliance of H&S topics.

About you:

One of the following: a professional engineering qualification with at least 2 years of relevant experience (1 year for safety engineers); a state-recognized technician exam with 2 years of experience; a master craftsman exam with 2 years in the role; or 4 years of experience in a technician, master craftsman, or equivalent role without the exam.
You’re a strong communicator who can get ideas across and inspire action.
You have the ability to work well independently, but also in a team setting.
You have a professional level fluency in English and German languages.
Willingness and commitment to complete the ‘Sicherheitsfachkraft Ausbildung’ during employment (training will be supported by the company).
