About the role

As a Finance Data Analyst, you’ll transform financial data into insights that power smarter decisions and real-world impact. This role is all about turning numbers into action - automating data flows, uncovering trends, and helping our teams make data-driven decisions faster and better. You’ll collaborate across departments to refine and improve financial processes, build insightful dashboards, and ensure everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll be the go-to expert for clean, accurate data and clear, actionable insights -driving change and making a difference.

What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Extract, compile, and validate financial data from various sources (internal databases, ERP systems, external sources), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery for core processes like monthly VAT reporting.
Consolidate and analyse financial data to provide actionable insights for monthly reporting, ad-hoc analysis, and strategic decision-making.
Automate data processes and reporting workflows to improve efficiency and data quality in financial analysis and business performance tracking.
Build clear, impactful dashboards and visualisations that communicate financial data insights and enable better, faster decisions across teams.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders and functional teams, understanding their data needs and helping them leverage analytics to enhance their work.
Promote a data-driven culture and continuous improvement, proactively identifying and leading process enhancements while documenting best practices and data management standards.
What we expect
About you:
You have a background in finance or a related field and are comfortable navigating financial data and processes.
You’re hands-on with SQL and Excel; experience with Python, R, or data modelling is a big plus.
You have a passion for working with data, backed by strong analytical skills and a structured, problem-solving mindset.
You’re experienced with BI tools and data visualisation platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Workiva) and enjoy creating clear, impactful insights.
You’re a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
You think like an owner - prioritising what matters, communicating clearly, and managing your work from start to finish.
