Tax Manager

We’re looking for a Tax Manager to join Bolt’s Global Tax Field Team, which provides strategic and hands-on tax support across 50+ countries. You’ll partner with our Finance, Commerce, Legal and Business teams to analyse new launches, navigate complex tax landscapes and enable Bolt’s growth while managing risk and ensuring compliant operations in a fast-moving environment. Location: Tallinn, Madrid or London (preference will be given to candidates based in Tallinn or willing to relocate there. About the role

As part of the Global Tax Field Team, you’ll provide day-to-day tax support to Bolt’s business verticals as they grow and evolve across multiple markets. The role combines strategic thinking and practical execution: you’ll structure tax setups for new launches, assess the impact of new products and services, resolve challenges and build scalable tech-enabled ways of working for the future. You’ll manage a portfolio of countries and work across all tax areas — direct, indirect and international tax. You’ll report to the West Regional Tax Lead.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Partner with Finance, Commerce and Legal teams to enable business growth by providing practical tax input on launches of products, services and verticals across multiple countries, ensuring compliant and optimized setups for each market.
Provide timely and hands-on tax support on day-to-day matters, covering all aspects of tax and identifying risks and opportunities that impact Bolt’s P&L.
Oversee tax governance and risk management across your country portfolio — building and maintaining tax-risk frameworks, reviewing CIT returns, leading tax audits, managing uncertain-tax-position assessments and tracking legislative changes that impact Bolt’s global operations.
Drive standardization, automation and process improvements to boost efficiency, scalability, consistency and quality of tax analyses, documentation and reporting.
Main tasks and responsibilities:

About you:

You have 6+ years of experience in tax within a multinational environment (industry and/or consulting) covering several countries. Experience in digital business is a plus.
You bring strong technical knowledge in corporate income tax, indirect tax, international tax and transfer pricing.
You translate complex tax matters into clear, actionable advice for business stakeholders.
You have strong project management skills, balancing multiple complex projects in parallel with attention to quality.
You are intellectually curious, tech savvy and solution-oriented, eager to learn, improve and challenge ideas constructively.
You build trusted cross-functional relationships and collaborate easily in a multicultural, global and entrepreneurial environment.
