The People Management Track involves leading and empowering engineers to build high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and fostering a positive culture. The main focus is on people development, communication, and leadership skills.

The Technology Management Track is about driving innovation and technical excellence by leveraging expertise to make strategic decisions, manage projects, and evaluate new technologies while leading a team. It’s primarily focused on deep technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and business acumen.

As an Engineering Manager, you are a first-line manager who leads and empowers a team of talented individual contributors, guiding them towards excellence while contributing your own technical expertise to drive successful project delivery. Typically, you’ll have 4–8 direct reports.
