Cancellation fee was not added (Switzerland)

A cancellation fee is compensation that is automatically added to your earnings when:

  • You cancel the trip because the rider does not show up after you’ve arrived at their pickup location.
    • In Switzerland: 3 Minutes
  • The rider cancels the trip after a certain time has passed since you accepted their order and started driving toward their pickup location.
    • This time frame may vary by city.

Please note that the cancellation fee is subject to the Bolt commission.

When the Cancellation Fee Does Not Apply

Cancellation is not compensated if:

  • The rider cancels the ride within a short time frame (2–5 minutes) after you accept their order.
  • You do not arrive within the estimated time of arrival (ETA).
  • You mark that you’ve arrived or cancel the trip far from the rider’s selected pickup location.
  • You wait for the rider far from the chosen pickup location, or you move away after arriving and before cancelling.
  • You cancel the ride at the pickup location before waiting for at least 3 minutes (the required waiting time in Switzerland).
