Drivers must provide the documents listed below to be eligible to drive on the Bolt platform:
Documents required for UAE nationals in Abu Dhabi:
- Valid Emirates ID
- UAE driving license
- Private vehicle registration (Mulkiya)
- Valid vehicle insurance
- Passport copy (first and last page)
- Police Clearance Certificate
- Medical Fitness Certificate
- Driver profile photo:
- Forward-facing, centered, showing full face and shoulders
- No sunglasses or other people in the frame
- Must be clear, professional (passport-style), and in focus
- Wearing national dress is required
Documents required for expat drivers under a Trans Abu Dhabi–licensed limousine company:
- Valid Emirates ID*
- Trans Card / ITC permit*
- Vehicle registration (Mulkiya)* under the same limousine company
- Driver profile photo
*The employer name must match across the Emirates ID, ITC permit, and vehicle registration.
To receive a Trans Card, the applicant must be registered as a limousine driver under a Trans Abu Dhabi–licensed company.
