Drivers will always attempt to take either the shortest route possible or the route chosen by the passenger. In cases that a driver does not know the route, navigation tools should be used.

If the price at the end of the journey exceeds the initial estimate, it may have been due to a number of factors (additional passengers, traffic congestion, road closures).
