If the car keys are not in the cup holders or close to the gear stick, please check the following places:
- Glove compartment
- Under the armrest
- On the floor under the driver or passenger seat.
If you can't find the keys in the above-listed places, please contact our Support team via the app.
To unlock/lock the vehicle, you have to use the Bolt Drive app.
Please note that certain vehicles are keyless, meaning there are no keys in the car. If the car is keyless, you will see stickers with this information inside the car.
How to start the engine
Keyless ignition:
- Put the gear shifter in position P (parking)
- Place foot on the brake pedal
- Push the start-stop button
- After the engine is ON, move the shifter to the D or R position and slowly start driving.
Key ignition:
- Put the gear shifter in position P (parking) and put the keys in the ignition
- Place foot on the brake pedal
- Turn the key in the ignition
- Once the engine is ON, move the shifter to the D or R position and slowly start driving.
