Bolt charges a 20% commission from the final price per order. Commission fee applies to both cash and card rides.
The full deduction breakdown is:
- Bolt commission: 20%
- VAT on commission: 3.6% (18% of the commission, remitted to the government)
- Booking fee: 2% (paid by the rider, but collected from the driver)
This results in a total deduction of approximately 25.6%.
Commission doesn’t apply to tips, bonuses, additional airport or toll fees, and booking fees.
