BUDI95 Petrol Subsidies

Bolt Malaysia fully supports the Government’s BUDI MADANI RON95 (BUDI95) initiative. This program provides targeted fuel subsidies to ensure that those who rely on driving for their livelihood—like yourself—can manage operational costs more effectively.

Under this scheme, eligible e-hailing drivers receive a higher monthly quota of RON95 petrol at the subsidized price of RM1.99/litre, compared to the 200-litre cap for the general public.

The government has established a tiered system for e-hailing drivers. Your total monthly eligibility is determined by the total distance travelled across all registered e-hailing platforms (including Bolt) from the previous month.

Note: Your mileage data is automatically shared by Bolt with APAD for government verification, so you do not need to submit distance logs manually. The basic 200-litre quota refreshes on the 1st of every month, while any additional e-hailing quota is typically updated by the 15th, based on your driving performance from the previous month.

You can redeem your quota at any participating petrol station (Petronas, Shell, Petron, Caltex, etc.) using one of these methods:

Option A: MyKad Verification (At the Pump / Counter) • Insert your MyKad into the card reader at the pump or hand it to the cashier. • Once verified, pay via Credit/Debit card or Cash. • The system will automatically apply the RM1.99/litre rate if you have a remaining quota.

Option B: Digital Wallet (TNG eWallet / Setel) • Link your MyKad details in the app (e.g., Touch 'n Go eWallet). • Select the "BUDI95" icon and follow the prompts to "Buy Fuel." • The app will track your remaining balance in real-time.
