Declare Your E-Hailing Vehicle via MyJPJ

Starting 10 February, Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (JPJ) has introduced a new digital feature that allows drivers to complete their E-Hailing Vehicle Declaration directly through the MyJPJ app.

This feature enables you to convert your vehicle usage from Persendirian (AB/AD) to E-Hailing (AH) without manual paperwork or visiting JPJ counters.

Why this matters

Failing to complete your vehicle declaration may result in legal implications and could affect your eligibility to continue receiving ride requests. Ensure your vehicle status is updated to remain compliant.

How to complete your declaration

Follow these steps: Check your vehicle age • If your vehicle is 3 years or older, complete your PUSPAKOM inspection first. • If your vehicle is below 3 years, proceed to the next step.

Register for MyDigital ID • Download and register for the MyDigital ID app to verify your identity.

Log in to MyJPJ • Open the MyJPJ app and select Login with MyDigital ID.

Select the declaration feature • From the dashboard, tap Declare E-Hailing Service Vehicles.

Submit your declaration • Choose your vehicle and follow the instructions to complete the process.

When should you do this?

Complete your declaration as soon as possible to avoid issues with your e-hailing status.

Important note

If your road tax vehicle code is already updated to AH, no further action is required.
