Need to make a stop on your way or share your Bolt ride with friends? No more switching destinations mid-journey, you can now add extra stops before getting a ride!
Multiple destinations: how does it work?
It really couldn’t be simpler!
First, open the Bolt app. Next, when you’re searching for your required destination, you’ll see a small plus sign on the right side of the address box. That’s where all the magic lies — tap on the ‘+’ to create an additional stop to your ride.
You can have up to three stops in a single ride, the last one being the final destination on your journey.
Be sure to share your arrival time with your friends so they’ll know when to step out of the door.
Do I need to inform my driver that we’re going to make extra stops?
After the ride has been started, the driver sees the route with all the stops on the map of his Bolt driver app. So, technically, your driver is aware that you’ll do multiple stops along the way. But if you wish to start a conversation, then it’s definitely a good ice-breaker.
When can I start adding extra stops?
The feature is being rolled out gradually and should be available for everyone soon. To use it, you’ll need to make sure that your Bolt app is updated to the latest version.
