Bolt has been at the forefront of shared mobility growth in Europe for the past decade. But we believe there’s more to come.

That’s why we were excited to lead the creation of the EU’s new Future Mobility Taskforce, comprised of 18 of Europe’s most influential mobility companies and startups.

Ensuring continued leadership in transport innovation

An initiative with an impactful purpose

The Taskforce was launched in January 2024 in Brussels in partnership with the EU Transport Commissioner Adina Vălean. It unites companies across the shared mobility, EV charging, maglev, rail, coach, cargo, and air mobility sectors.

The Taskforce aims to guide policymakers in making mobility more sustainable, affordable, and connected (in terms of existing transport networks). By doing so, the Taskforce will help unlock more economic, social, and environmental benefits that the mobility sector enables

The first step will be creating a comprehensive set of recommendations, presented to the Commissioner in the spring, and informing the EU’s policies following the European elections in June.

Companies that have already joined the initiative are (alphabetically): Aura Aero, Bolt, Cabify, Carto, Dronamics, EVBox, EV Connect, Fastned, Flix, Lilium, MaasGlobal, Nevomo, Omio, Otiv, Scoobic, Volocopter, Voi, and Virta.

Taking a step further in the European Mobility sector

Jevgeni Kabanov

Shared mobility services are increasingly important in European city transport networks, supporting economic growth and social development whilst improving urban areas for citizens.

This is a critical time to unlock these benefits further across Europe, and we’re excited to work closer with other operators and the EU Commission to make this happen. We hope this initiative will create supportive regulation and ensure Europe remains the world leader in sustainable transport.
