Senior Operations Manager

We are looking for an entrepreneurial-oriented and solution-driven Senior Operations Manager with excellent analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills to take ownership of our Ukrainian ride-hailing operations.

About the role

Your role will have a direct and tangible impact through continuous improvement of the driver and rider experience by strengthening Bolt's value proposition in the marketplace by achieving industry-leading supply availability, pricing, and quality. What’s more, from a succession perspective, you’ll work closely with the General Manager. You will be involved in the definition and implementation of the strategy of the Ukrainian market & hold a key strategic position in the management of the Ukrainian team.

What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Designing and executing strategies to increase driver engagement and retention while managing a high-performing Ukrainian team, ensuring operational excellence.
Developing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders (drivers, fleet owners, unions, regulators, government officials, and local communities) to drive business growth.
Overseeing and optimising local operational processes and procedures, while identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities to strengthen the business.
Developing complex analytical models and reporting systems, analysing data to optimise Bolt’s marketplace health for drivers and riders in Ukraine.
Driving growth and revenue by achieving operational milestones and ensuring active collaboration between local operations and HQ teams to meet business objectives.
Advocating for Bolt’s brand and services while navigating regulatory matters and local policies within the transportation and tech sectors.
What we expect
About you:
You have 3+ years of experience in an operations management or general management role
You have 5+ years experience in an analytical and/or entrepreneurial position
You are a strong leader and collaborator with excellent English & Ukrainian negotiation and communication skills (both verbal and written)
You are passionate about new technologies and ride-hailing
You have a data-driven mindset with excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills
You have a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Economics, Finance or related fields
