About the role
You will be building models for predicting the probability of the user booking under specific circumstances. You will work on customer segmentation: discover rider, driver, and eater segments for efficient campaign targeting. As a Data Scientist, you will be developing a system for automating promo campaigns setup and scaling it for millions of Bolt customers. You will be engaged in designing optimal experimental setup for comparing different campaigns targeting methodologies and user behavior dynamics. You will work on prioritising user acquisition channels using analytical and machine learning approaches.
What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Machine learning and statistical model development and its deployment into a production environment)
Studying historical user behaviour and building models for optimal users’ discount allocation
Developing a system for automating regular promo campaign setups)
Setting up A/B tests, collecting, interpreting its results, and communicating to stakeholders)
Working with a technical stack consisting of Python, Docker, Presto, SageMaker, Airflow)
Collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, product managers, and software engineers in feature teams )
What we expect
About you:

Industry experience in data science and machine learning (4+ years recommended), with deep knowledge of statistics, probability, and causal inference
Proficient in setting A/B tests and interpreting results, with a strong understanding of statistical hypothesis testing
Track record of deploying models to production and effectively measuring their impact
Experience in writing complex SQL queries and mapping business/product problems to data science frameworks
Strong product thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate, persuade, and collaborate effectively
Proactive, self-driven mindset, able to take initiative with minimal supervision and work well in a team
