Staff Product Designer, Rides


We’re looking for a skilled Staff Product Designer with a deep expertise in UI craftsmanship and a visionary mindset to execute user experience and design-related initiatives at a group level. The primary objective of this role is to deliver exceptional quality products that effectively meet the user and the business needs across various domains within the group.

About the role


You’ll lead design initiatives for the consumer-facing ride-hailing app, confidently articulating compelling design stories backed by a blend of clear user problems, data, and design intuition to senior stakeholders. We’re looking for someone who can think systematically, yet comfortably balance rapid prototyping with thoughtful design leadership.
What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Quickly prototype and iterate design concepts to initiate product momentum.
Confidently present design ideas to senior stakeholders using a balance of data-driven insights and strong design intuition.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and researchers to bring your design concepts to life.
Advocate for user-centric, high-quality design solutions across the team.
Push for visionary solutions that challenge existing ideas and drive innovation.
Contribute to evolving design systems and ensuring consistency in UI/UX patterns.
What we expect
About you:
You’re a collaborative, design-led thinker who speaks the language of product, leading discussions and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
You have extensive experience as a Senior or Staff Product Designer, with a portfolio showcasing exceptional UI craftsmanship and bold design leadership.
You know when to prioritize fast iterations and prototypes, collaborating effectively with senior designers and cross-functional teams.
You can communicate fluently in English and can confidently pitch your design vision clearly through storytelling, backed by user research and strong design intuition.
You’re proficient in design tools like Figma, Figjam, and collaborate seamlessly through Jira and Confluence.
You’re passionate about mentoring and guiding other senior designers, fostering a collaborative environment that elevates the overall design quality and team growth.
