Senior Marketplace Analyst, Ride-hailing

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Analyst to join our Marketplace Rides team to help us improve and scale our pricing and matching algorithms that make millions of rides happen every day across 45 countries!

About the role

As a catalyst for discovery, you will boost current mechanics and contribute to new features in our pricing and matching domains. You will have an opportunity to apply your expertise in experimentation, causal inference and microeconomics to optimally match demand and supply.

What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Discovering new opportunities by conducting exploratory research and deep-diving into what drives our marketplace
Analysing feature performance, identifying points of improvement and designing new solutions based on your analysis
Owning and enforcing A/B testing best practices end-to-end, in other words validating features, designing & analysing experiments and making sure we take action
Designing relevant and actionable metrics to make better and faster decisions
Contributing to the conceptualisation and development of analytical solutions such as marketplace simulations or self-service data products
Closely collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers and Data Scientists to build, prioritise and execute our roadmap
What we expect
About you:
You hold a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management or similar studies
You have 3+ years of experience working in Product Analytics and/or Data Science
You rank your SQL skills as “outstanding” & Python/R skills as “profound” and you have experience with some BI tools and data visualisation
You are fluent in English and your verbal and written communication is outstanding
You have a solid understanding of end-to-end A/B testing; experience with advanced experimentation such as switchback tests or other causal inference methods is an advantage
You are confident in applying basic notions of microeconomics in practice and have a basic understanding of supervised machine-learning models
