About the role
Tools & Workflows (T&W) team is responsible for optimising different workflows in Bolt. The data science projects inside the T&W team span from developing models to be able to classify users’ issues and intents, building tooling to improve support agent efficiency and effectiveness, and creating intelligent chatbots capable of providing instant, automated resolutions to customer issues.

What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Analysts, Engineers, Product Managers, Operations, etc.) to deeply understand business challenges and deliver impactful data science solutions.
Solving real-world problems by building applications using deep learning, gradient-boosted trees, Large Language Models (LLMs), time series modelling, and other advanced techniques.
Handling the entire lifecycle from exploratory queries and notebook prototypes to a working machine learning model or other automation that might be serving thousands of calls per second in production.
Work across a modern data stack including Python, SQL, Spark, Presto, Docker, SageMaker, and Airflow, plus internal tooling for ML training and inference.
Validate and optimize solutions using Bolt’s in-house AB testing platform, ensuring measurable impact at scale.
