Senior Full Stack Engineer, Bolt Business
We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to work on exciting challenges on our Bolt Business team.

About the role
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and deploying Bolt's growing backend and frontend systems. That will mostly happen via coding in Node.js, TypeScript, and React (PS: no previous experience with Node.js is needed).
You will be closely collaborating with key internal stakeholders to determine how to scalably design systems and APIs to meet their needs. Mostly, you get to work on the Bolt Business project to develop our B2B portal for rentals, ride-hailing, and delivery.
What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Designing and building Bolt's growing backend and frontend systems
Coding mostly in JavaScript, Node.js and TypeScript (previous experience with Node.js is not required)
Proactively fixing upcoming bugs and solving technical challenges
Contributing ideas to our product development roadmap
Giving a hand to your fellow colleagues, participating in code reviews and architecture discussions
We are not really looking for Node.js experts, but for cross-language engineers for whom a specific stack is just a tool to solve a problem, not the solution itself
What we expect

You have experience in JavaScript and Node.js / C++ /Java or any OO language
You have knowledge of major frontend frameworks
You have a university degree in a technical subject (Computer science, Mathematics or similar)
You have a solid understanding of algorithms and data structures
You have experience with any SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
You feel at home with microservices architecture and you are experienced in API design.
