Senior Site Reliability Engineer, Platform Team
Bolt engineering teams are working on unique product challenges – complex algorithms for demand prediction, optimal real-time pricing, routing, fraud detection, distributed systems, and much more. Volumes are constantly growing.
Our SRE teams are dealing with a range of different challenges, from managing our services that keep Bolt backend services running to optimizing our cloud infrastructure.
The SRE Platform team is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and scalability of Bolt's backend services.

About the role
Our Site Reliability Engineers in the Platform team are working towards making sure we build up an ever more resilient and scalable platform for engineering teams to build on top of.
What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Developing automation and implementing internal systems.
Participating in architectural discussions to select the best long-term solution.
Implementation of new systems and tuning of existing ones to enable better reliability, availability, scalability, or reduce costs.
Collaborating with other SRE and Software Engineers.
Troubleshooting production system issues.
Participating in on-call activities for the most critical parts of the infrastructure, helping to solve incidents in a no-blaming culture.
What we expect
About you:
Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying!
Have in-depth knowledge of Linux troubleshooting, including networking, filesystems, security, and the kernel.
Have a solid understanding of large-scale distributed systems.
Experienced with AWS services such as EC2 and EKS.
Experience with infrastructure automation tools, such as Terraform, and Ansible.
Are a team player, with good communication skills, that works well with others in the group and the rest of the organization.
