Field Application Engineer

Join our micromobility team as a Mechatronics Field Application Engineer! You'll troubleshoot, integrate, and optimize electrical and electromechanical systems, driving fleet reliability through hands-on problem-solving and data analysis.

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechatronics Field Application Engineer to join our FAE team. This role will focus on the integration, troubleshooting, and support of electrical and electromechanical components within our micromobility fleet. The Mechatronics FAE will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of these systems, providing technical expertise to local teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our vehicles.

What you can expect
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Lead integration of third-party components and emerging technologies.
Provide expert troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and electromechanical systems.
Analyze fleet and diagnostic data to detect patterns, predict failures, and proactively implement solutions.
Evaluate and validate electrical and electromechanical components for performance and reliability.
Develop and standardize SOPs for maintenance, diagnostics, and repair across all locations..
Support and lead compliance and certification efforts for electronic systems (EMC, FCC, RED, etc.).
What we expect
About you:
Proven experience in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of electronics and electromechanical components.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
Familiarity with creating and maintaining SOPs and maintenance procedures.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Good project management skills and ability to work independently.
